Divestment has moved into the mainstream

«The value of assets represented by institutions and individuals committing to some sort of divestment from fossil fuel companies has reached $5 trillion»: you can read it in the new report released today by Arabella Advisors.

In the endnotes you can also read: «Because 20 percent of the institutions
covered in this report did not disclose financial assets, the $5 trillion figure is significantly lower than the full scale of commitments made». That’s huge.

So, the (unstoppable) fossil fuel divestment movement has moved into the mainstream. Definitely.
