Thanks Andrea for this opportunity and greets to all your audience. #RAEX2020 I was managing RAEX-Europe since its inception and initially we started in 2013 with classic credit ratings. At the end of 2015, we were registered by ESMA as EU CRA with ECAI status.

our sustainability journey has started. We realized that ESG topic is too broad and goes far beyond classic credit rating analysis.
Few examples of ESG issues, which would not fit in classic credit rating:
•ESG factors have much longer time horizon than classicaly considered— RAEX-Europe (@RaexEurope) December 4, 2020
ESG is not only about risks, it is also about opportunities, and those opportunities are hard to assess.
So after, we considered everything we could plug into credit ratings and realized how much we could not we started intensive work on separate methodologies for ESG ratings.— RAEX-Europe (@RaexEurope) December 4, 2020
third annual issue of which came out recently and now we are planning to review it on monthly basis).
When Green Bond aspirations reached CIS markets, we were the first ones to act and we provided Green Bond second opinion services to the first Green Bond in CIS – RSB HMAO Ltd.— RAEX-Europe (@RaexEurope) December 4, 2020
This database currently includes 45+ companies interesting for EU investors, by the end of this year we will reach 85+ and in 2021 plan to continue rapid expansion of this database. Each rating considers 170-220 parameters depending on the company industry.

field, however less visible positions on average than male graduates. I think the main reason for such later imbalance in developed countries is not in the lack of opportunities but rather in different ambitions and work/life balances. On average female professionals spend more

creative and with less pressure. For example: compare classic credit ratings which are heavily regulated in EU by ESMA with tons of requirements, deadlines and market pressure, and ESG ratings which are still not regulated in EU.

A2 #RAEX2020 We have a good event track record both within RAEX-Europe and within broader RAEX group so it was logical to have a separate event devoted to our favorite topics – CIS markets which we know historically very well and sustainable finance.

Q4 @RaexEurope Market-driven, policy-driven, both: what's your view abt the main driver of the development of #sustainablefinance in the #CIS and #BlackSea region? How this might be affected by the #sustainablefinanceEU Action Plan progressively coming into effect?#RAEX2020 pic.twitter.com/cxfTHXJaOz

…while CIS countries have doubts about green and see low-carbon as a threat to economy, including its carbon-intensive exports.
— RAEX-Europe (@RaexEurope) December 4, 2020
A5 #RAEX2020 We completely agree that new specific skills are required for the CIS community. There is noticeable lack of educational opportunities in field of sustainable finance for Russian speaking audience.
— RAEX-Europe (@RaexEurope) December 4, 2020
In addition, we are working on a short practical sustainable finance education course in Russian in order to help practitioners to quickly gain required knowledge in this new and dynamic field.
