Why choose to #upcycle old products, rather than reuse or recycle them?
"In contrast to reusing or recycling, upcycling uses existing materials to improve upon the original ones – old products are given more value, not less."

Pollution, especially plastic pollution, is a huge problem on the islands of the Outer Hebrides. A variety of different plastic products are washed up on the shores, and if not collected for upcycling, they break down into microplastics.
